We offer in-house bookkeeping/accounting and VAT for clients, and we have been using Sage One (the cloud-based, real-time alternative to the traditional single PC based Sage Accounts) since it was launched in 2015.

Sage One has some significant benefits

When running Sage One Accounts, we are able to calculate and submit VAT returns online, provide departmental analysis income and/or expenditure and produce management accounts. You will be able access your accounts anytime anywhere on your PCs, laptops, Apple Macs, smartphones, iPad and other tablets.  All the data is secure and backed up on the cloud, so there is no need for disks or USB sticks.

Sage One can also be set up to use Bank Feeds; this feature downloads all of the transactions from the bank account(s).  In doing this, you have a real-time snapshot of your finances and can review the current cash position and balance anytime and any day. It also allows bank statements to be imported on the system instead of it being downloaded by the bank.

Sage One Accounting provides a new level of flexibility with report creation, drill down and analysis:

• Export reports into multiple formats to enable further interrogation or overlay with additional insight.
• Profit and loss report; critical information to understand how much money your business has made to date.
• Balance sheet report; a straightforward option to check the assets and liabilities of the business.

Sage One also gives access to an unlimited number of other users through simple to set up access rights that give complete control over what new users can see or do.
